Best known for his collaborations with violinist Stephane Grapelli in their Quintette du Hot Club de France, Django Reinhardt was one of the most popular jazz artists of the 30s, 40s and 50s and had a profound influence on such artists across musical genres, from Julian Bream and Chet Atkins to B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix, from Les Paul and Barney Kessell to the hot clubs of the 21st century.
